Once upon the time, a mighty farmer captured the beautiful princess of the seas. He brought her back to the mainland locked in a cell pulled by his steel horse ….

Well, I am not really a fairy tale writer and the reality behind this picture is less magical. Indeed, it was taken in Ralay, Southern Thailand. The tractor is used to bring local workers to the shore when the tide is low as boats can no more dock on the shores. Thailand is obviously world known for its massages. It is a whole industry here in Bangkok and you cannot find a street without its saloon. The prices ? Ridiculously low as a one hours session will be charged about $5. And you do get smiling staff all the time !  (click on picture for high res)

As you might know, I am 198cm tall. This allow me to use a very high vantage point. I have been experimenting on a type of pictures that fully utilizes that high point of view. It is not easy as it brings up a series of challenges in terms of composition. . (click on pictures for high res)
