I wonder if many of the foreign tourists that tour Paris in a Citroen 2CV do realize how important this car is to French culture. Indeed, the 2CV instantly brings memories of great comic movies from the 60's and 70'S. (Le Corniaud, starring Bourvil and De Funès).

Have a look at this trailer from Le Corniaud (starring de Funès and Bourvil), can you recognize the camera that Bourvil is wearing around his neck ?   (I have no idea)

As for today's picture, it illustrates the problem of framing cars when you have a long lens on and no space to back pedal. Nevertheless, it does lead to creative framing.

  1. Youtube c'est comme ca :) !
    Voila Bebel parlant de Lino…
    The good old times :D
    Le 2CV?
I know a guy who has three.
They meet in Scotland or la Corse, lots and lots of them from all over Europe.
What photos, what cars, what people! They must have their own blogs and pictures and des histoires.
    Where I was born they say:  "Mare e gradina lui D-zeu!" (God's garden is large.  = There're all sorts… ;) ).
    Cheers!

    • And my best friend had a yellow 2CV with cheese holes stickers. He had great success with the girls back in the 90′s. 2CV’s have become cool since then ;)
