Around the Holy Cross

While in Bombay, I met a very talented Indian street photographer, that is Kaushal Parikh (check out his work here : http://www.kaushalp.com. He took us to a small fisherman village on the outskirt of the city. The setting was absolutely wonderful and as we neared the top of the village, we noticed a few kids sitting by a Christian cross. We took several pictures of the scene with Bombay in the background. As we were about to move on, the kids started running around the cross, what a great shot opportunity.

Once the compostion set (a straight forward one), the main difficulty was to get all the kids in the frame and have their legs form the famous triangle. Indeed, legs in triangle clearly show the motion of your subjects and the direction they are headed too. To the contrary, two legs crossing each other might often lead to a confusing read : Is the subject just standing or is he walking ?
