Munnar is an oddity in Souther India since it stands 1500 meters above sea level. And after months of extreme heat, it was a pure relief to see rainy weather and temperatures in the low 20's. As for the place itself, Munnar is surrounded by tea plantations whose green brings so much contrast to the dry plains of Tamil Nadu. The sceneries are simply stunning. 1. i could imagine sitting at a roadside cafe enjoying a cup of tea ;) you weren't trying to shoot too many photos in this weather, were you ;P

    • Hi Alan, though I did go out to shoot in the rain, I did not find the city of Munnar itself very inspiring. As for tea… sorry I am more of a coffee guy ;)

  2. The cool crisp air. Daylight somewhat bluer. i come from a high altitude city. 2000m above sea level. The light sparkles on leaves and flowers. The sheer hard work of gathering the tea leaves seems awful. Yet this is the only work..
